CHOOSE YOUR CANVAS

Same ambition.
Three ways to build.

01 / WEB

Web

From an idea to your own domain.

Build a full-stack product people can open in their browser. Our existing web workshop brings the whole journey together.

  • Next.js + TypeScript

Build pages, interactions and server-side features.

  • HeroUI

Create a responsive interface from reusable, accessible components.

  • Supabase

Connect Postgres, authentication and file storage.

  • Vercel + Namecheap

Deploy, connect your domain and learn to release updates.

WHAT YOU WORK TOWARD

A working web app with sign-in, connected data and its own web address.

02 / MOBILE

Mobile

Put your idea in someone’s pocket.

Choose native depth or a shared codebase for iOS and Android. We pick one route around the app the group wants to build.

  • Swift + SwiftUI

Native iOS with Xcode, simulator and real-device testing.

  • Kotlin + Jetpack Compose

Native Android with Android Studio and emulator testing.

  • React Native + Expo

TypeScript for iOS and Android, with Expo’s development and build tooling.

  • Flutter + Dart

A shared UI and app codebase for both mobile platforms.

  • Supabase

Sign-in, shared data and uploads, with access scoped to each user.

WHAT YOU WORK TOWARD

A tested mobile build and a practical path through TestFlight and App Store review, or Google Play testing and release.

03 / DESKTOP

Desktop

Build a tool that feels at home.

Create an app for the operating system your users work in, or share a product across Windows, macOS and Linux.

  • Swift + SwiftUI

Native macOS apps built and tested in Xcode.

  • C# + .NET 10 + WinUI 3

Native Windows apps using Visual Studio and the Windows App SDK.

  • Electron + TypeScript

Desktop apps with web UI; optionally package Python for local processing.

  • Tauri + Rust

Web UI with Rust application logic and native platform integrations.

  • Supabase + local storage

Connect cloud accounts and data while choosing what belongs on the device.

WHAT YOU WORK TOWARD

A packaged desktop build, with signing, installers, updates and distribution planned for its target platforms.

THREE LEARNING TRACKS

A stack that fits your goal.

A / TYPESCRIPT

One language.
Many possibilities.

Next.js for web. React Native + Expo for mobile. Electron or Tauri for desktop. Share skills and selected business logic; adapt the interface to each platform.

B / FLUTTER

A shared
visual language.

Dart and Flutter across web, mobile and desktop. Reuse substantial UI and application code, while checking platform-specific plugins and interactions.

C / NATIVE

Go deeper
on one platform.

SwiftUI + Xcode for Apple. Kotlin + Android Studio for Android. C# + WinUI 3 + Visual Studio for Windows. Rust + GTK4 / libadwaita for GNOME Linux, with VS Code or GNOME Builder.

THE CROSS-PLATFORM MAP

See where your
skills can take you.

Compare languages, frameworks and app targets. Filter by the platform you want to build for, or explore the Rust ecosystem.

BUILD IT. TEST IT. SHARE IT.

The code is only
part of the journey.

Every track follows the same practical rhythm: set up the tools, build the interface, add functionality and storage, connect platform APIs, test, then prepare a release.

Mobile: from device to store

  1. Set up Xcode on a Mac for Apple builds, or Android Studio for Android. Configure the app identity and signing.
  2. Test core journeys on simulators and physical devices. Connect Supabase without embedding server secrets.
  3. Archive and upload an iOS build to App Store Connect. Use TestFlight for feedback.
  4. Prepare screenshots, description, age rating, privacy details and reviewer access. Select the build and submit for App Review.
  5. Respond to review feedback and choose the release timing. For Android, prepare a signed app bundle, Play Console listing and testing release.
Apple’s submission guide ↗

Desktop: from build to install

  1. Choose supported operating systems and architectures, then test on each one.
  2. Package the app and any Python or Rust helpers with their required dependencies.
  3. For macOS, sign and notarize a direct-download app, or prepare a Mac App Store submission.
  4. For Windows, prepare a signed installer or MSIX package and consider the Microsoft Store. For Linux, choose packages such as AppImage, deb/rpm or Flatpak.
  5. Publish release notes, plan updates and verify installation on a clean device.
Desktop distribution guide ↗

We teach the submission and distribution process. Store approval and review timing are outside the workshop’s control. Developer accounts, compatible hardware and provider costs depend on the chosen path.
